Friday, January 1st, 2010

Signs of pregnancy vary from one woman to another, but delayed or missed monthly periods are signs that everyone looks for.  The symptoms of pregnancy can begin the same week of being impregnated for some women.  But for other women, no symptoms may emerge for many weeks;  for some, no symptoms ever appear. Call your doctors at first signs of pregnancy stages.

At 6 to 12 days after conception the embryo will implant.  When this occurs a few women will have cramps and bleed a little.  A delayed or missed periods is indicative of pregnancy for a woman who has been having sex and is therefore advised to have it confirmed. Phone your doctor if your having any questions about weight gain during pregnancy.

If you become pregnant you will most likely miss your next period.  There is a likelihood that a few women may have bleeding when they are pregnant, however it will be mild and not as long as a normal period.Your doctor would need to be consulted if you have questions about pregnancy questions.

Tender and swollen breasts are another symptom that a woman is pregnant. The areolas might become darker in a few women.

You will begin to feel fatigued very early in the pregnancy. During your pregnancy you will feel sick mostly in the mornings but some women will feel sick at different times in the day during the whole preganancy.

This symptom usually lasts for two to eight weeks, but some women never experience it. Lower back pain occurs in the early stages itself and persists mildly throughout the gestation period.  Alteration of the hormones normally are the reason for headaches in the initial stages of pregnancy.
Another sign of pregnancy that happens about six weeks after the conception is having to urinate more than usual.

Desire to have particular foods indicate onset of conception. Food cravings are very common throughout the pregnancy in most women, however they may not want to eat ice cream and pickles.  There are many choices for home pregnancy tests, but a visit to your health care professional should be your first step if you think you may be pregnant.
