Disney Princess Invitations – Some Ideas to Start With
Thursday, November 10th, 2011When you are planning out a birthday party for your 4 year old daughter, the Disney princess theme is sure to cross your mind. Indeed, it is a favorite with kids and they want to be princesses themselves. The first thing you want to plan regarding her birthday party is the invitations that you will be sending out to other little girls just like your child. These will invariably be themed on Disney princesses as well. Customizing these invitations is very easy today, what with advanced printing and design techniques. Here are a few things you can be creative at when designing them.
Shapes
The shape of Disney princess invitations can vary wildly according to which princess you have chosen as the theme. A great idea is to create multifold invitation cards that are shaped like a complete castle when opened fully.
Color them with an overall pink theme if you like, because it is a girl’s favorite color in most cases. You can also create invitations in the shape of the princesses themselves. You can use their flowing hair as the main attraction of such invitations. For example, Ariel the Little Mermaid has glowing red hair, which can effectively be used on invitations
Size and wordings
The size of the invitations sent to children, whatever the theme, is not generally difficult to decide. Most have a somewhat large invitation. The bigger invitations give children a sense of awe and they eagerly await the birthday day to unfold. The place where you can be most creative however is the wordings that you use. Kids respond to well worded invitations more than adults. Use wordings that create a sense of excitement about what is awaiting them. The more kids you manage to invite, the more special your child will ultimately feel about herself.
